Sacraments

he sacraments are powerful encounters with Christ that strengthen us, heal us, and accompany us throughout life.
At St. John the Baptist Parish, we joyfully prepare individuals and families to receive the sacraments and grow in faith.

Explore the sacraments below to learn how to begin the preparation process, what’s required, and who to contact.

The Sacraments

The Catholic Church celebrates seven sacraments, given to us by Jesus Christ as signs of God’s grace.
Each sacrament marks a significant moment in our spiritual journey and strengthens our relationship with God and one another.

The Seven Sacraments:

  • Baptism

  • Confirmation

  • Holy Eucharist

  • Reconciliation

  • Anointing of the Sick

  • Matrimony

  • Holy Orders

If you’re looking to receive any of the sacraments or would like more information, our parish team is here to help guide you.

Baptism

Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation and the beginning of your child’s lifelong journey of faith.
Through Baptism, we are welcomed into the Church and become children of God.
